35% of patients with diabetes suffer sexual dysfunction

Belgium, a new study published in the medical journal “Diabetes Care”, more than one-third of diabetic women with sexual problems. The study had 652 female patients with Type I diabetes to participate. 10 years later, the volunteers completed a sexual function questionnaire, received physical examination and laboratory tests assessing mood. Belgium’s Louvain University, Dr. Paul Ensi Lin and colleagues found that 35% of people were classified as sexual dysfunction.
57% of them said there is loss of libido, 51% of them said orgasm problems, 38% of them said to reduce the level of sexual arousal, 21% said boring sex.
The team pointed out: does the existence of diabetes female sexual quality of life, the impact from fluctuations in blood sugar state of physiological and psychological changes in blood glucose over time, under stable conditions, sexual life should also be improved accordingly. Female sex, poor quality of life mainly in premature vaginal dryness, loss of libido and other conditions.
